This painting was changed by cleaning, Modigliani used to varnish his nudes in order to achieve an old style look, he was inspired by Titian venetian colors with his
own style so he mixed varnishes, the problem when deep cleaning nudes is the possibility to lost many details that make the composition so special, in this case the color where
strongly altered and many details lost.
