Glue lined. Varnished. Horizontal line along the bottom where canvas may have been creased.
Examined under ultraviolet light. Retouching to the lower left quandrant of the figure's face.
Small cluster of tiny retouches to the background in the lower right corner, well above the signature.
The whites appear too bright in the catalogue illustration; the illustration is washed-out overall.
