In the 1981 study conducted by the laboratoires de recherche des Musées de France by Suzy del Burgo and Lola Faillant-Dumas they reached
the conclussion that this work is a "forggerie", based on the complete inconsistences of the construction and the non concordance with other
works by Modigliani.

The Xray revealed the total lack of drawing and the pigment analysis is not coincident with those used by Modigliani.

Therefore this work is false far away from any doubt.

(Have in mind the provenance in Zborowski / Bernheim Jeune and the 1929 publication by Pfannstiel?)
