Biographical notes on the sitter:

Henri E. Maurice Drouard (Paris 1886 - Versailles 1915)

French Sculptor and Illustrator died the 29 of September 1915 in the 236 regiment d' infanterie.
Lived in the 7 place du tertre and was a popular young illustrator and sculptor of Montmartre when Modigliani knew him.
