1917? Pfannstiel 1929 dated the work end of 1916 and repeated it; Pfannstiel 1956 listed it twice as nos. 95 and 209, dated 1915–16. Ceroni, Lanthemann, Parisot and Patani date it 1917.

Signature

Signed Modigliani at bottom right in the colours of the dress mixed with black. Signed again on the reverse Modigliani, with the text 3 Joseph Bara / Paris.
