60.6 × 46.3 cm (unconfirmed). Alternative published sizes: 58.4 × 45.7 cm; the 1937 Baixeras sale listed 62 × 47 cm. Pfannstiel’s 95 × 58.5 cm does not match this canvas. This investigation had dated that sale 1935 in one note; the recorded sale is 3 June 1937.

Not securely identified in the D’Atri papers. A possible match is no. 311 (Girl with white collar, 1917, Bernheim-Jeune 1929); this investigation notes that three other numbers could also apply.

Ceroni 1970 listed the work as lost; it reappeared at Christie’s in 2000.

Holes are visible at the four corners.
