1.- There is a very large number of sketches done for the portrait that remained at the Alexandre Collection.
2.- The portrayed was the girlfriend of Jean Alexandre and it was a commission, but the portrayed didn't wanted to pay the painting because the jacket that was a red ridding jacket was painted in yellow instead of red.
